If youre running low in inspiration or you really cant afford to hire professional Session players, like guitar, drums, and Piano, then these apps are a must have for any serious composer in IOS!!! I bought every single one and at this special price its an instabuy! The developers are top notch musicians themselves and love your feedback! Cant wait for them to implement Ableton Link!! This will place these apps over the top!!! Please Ableton link????? Anyway this apps are a no brained for IOS musicians!

Could be a good one.BUT the tempo button doesnt work. So it sounds nice but is useless without an update that fixes this!WAIT!

... dem Werk wohl eine Chance geben, aber das Arbeiten, z. B. mit Chordbot oder GarageBand gefällt mir da besser. Alles erscheint zu umständlich... Die Sounds sind allerdings klasse! Zudem kann die Geschwindigkeit nicht angepasst werden - die E-Mail-Anfrage an den Entwickler ist in Bezug auf Time Signature ist raus, nun hier die Antwort: As SessionBand-Piano Edition uses pre-recorded audio loops which are recorded either in 4/4 or 6/8 - it is not possible to change the time signature. You would need to start with a demo file, or create new with one of those time-signatures. SessionBand allows you to change the style of a track from one to another, provided the time signature is the same. By shrinking chord blocks with a 4/4 time signature down to 2 beats or those with a 6/8 time signature down to 3 beats, it is possible to create tracks with a 2/4 and 3/4 feel. Highly recommended tool for everyone that want to do piano lines in a quality far beyond the pattern based solutions of regular samplers. This is a real piano sound from a real and really good pianoplayer. Very helpfull to make your arrangements really alive or if you are pianoplayer to have an extension of your musical posibilities. Like the guitar or the jazz app, also the one for piano is easy to use, has a perfect audiobus fitting and creates absolute authentic sounds from various pianos including R&B Rhodes sounds and Elton John feeling. Absoutely worth the price and a must have for me! Hope we get more from this kind of quality helpers.....

The app is well thought-out in terms of layout and design and the loops sound great...these are all songs Im producing that can be put into my video projects and sent to paying clients. The tutorials are a bonus as well...the folks giving the lessons seem extremely knowledgable and its worth checking out what they have to offer. So far good experiences with this application and will continue to use.

This application works great for me! I love these apps I have been getting them all because of the simplicity and style of these apps! The graphics are also great on the iPad! I love creating mixes of piano tracks! Adjusting the tempo and creating instant loops is great!

At least 3/4 2/4 & 6/8 demo tracks should be include, crash the first time I launch the app, never happen again... Please play button in edit mode, is a headache. The sound excellent and very helpful and really good for the price I recommended this app

You can use this app in many ways - ear training, accompaniment, learning piano accompanying styles, composing tool, learning common chord progressions, and generating quick demos. Its beautifully implemented. I love the jazz and guitar versions of this app too.

You cannot change the BPM for any of the loops which keeps you locked into the predefined BPM in the selected style. Without the ability to change the BPM, this app is kind of useless for creating music. The loops also have sound artifacts that can be heard in between some chord transitions. Interface is confusing.

I really love this app. I got this and the acoustic guitar version a few days ago. Ive already got strong starts on about 6 new songs inspired by the playing and demo chord progressions. Some of these may make it to the track in Sonar X2 if I decide to produce something bigger. The sounds are quite good except for a few transition effects here and there. If its mixed with other instruments, you would never notice those. Ive done a few simple demos in GarageBand using Audio Copy/paste. Audiobus works but getting it synced with GB metronome was more trouble than its worth. For a quick sketch of a new song, I just play back the loop in this app on my iPad, and record my voice and the instrument using the Voice Memo on my iPod touch. Not high quality but really quick and easy. This app is similar in some respects to Band in a Box on PC. I have used that program for years, and in recent years its gotten really good with Real Tracks. Those are chords and riffs and other parts play by studio musicians and synced to the midi track which you defined by chord progressions very much like this app. BIAB is more flexible but also much more complicated and expensive.

Wish Id known before I paid for this that beats per minute can not be adjusted. That lack makes an otherwise brilliant app useless for production.

..for songwriter who cant play any instrument but always enjoy singing out of nowhere tune. This app can complete your song at first note... Love this app.

I absolutely love this app!!! With single piano tracks, I can use this to create both a base track, and a lead sheet... which I can then use to add other instruments. Incredible. And the best part is the real ness of the loops. Amazing! The interface is simple and amazing. Brilliant.

I use my iPad to practice guitar and bass. This beats many of the other tools I have been using for good jam tracks. I have five or so SessionBand apps now, and wish there were in easy way to copy and paste chord progressions between them. There are also choppy audio issues when I use audiobus that I expect you folks will clean up.

Out of the box it works fine until you want to edit a track. Editing is very difficult and seems to crash the app. All Session Band apps no longer work with Audio bus. Instruments are great if you use it as is. This piano version is one of my favorites but the bugs warrant low rating.

And in response to another review, you can change the BPM, and it sounds very nice; the time stretching algorithm the are using is top notch.
